These trails require all of the skills required for Blue and Red but are substantially more difficult.<\/p>\n<h3>My Top 5 Quantock Hills MTB Trails<\/h3>\n<p><strong># 1 Stert Combe (blue)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nice trail! Nice open grass section at the top leading into single-track between the heath.<\/p>\n<p>You can really get some speed on this &#8211; beware of a couple of log drops further down<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trailforks.com\/trails\/stert-combe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See location<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong># 2 Smiths Combe (red)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This trail has it all rocks, roots and really nice single-track.<\/p>\n<p>Bit of a climb back out but so worth it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trailforks.com\/trails\/smith-s-combe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See location<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong># 3 Weacombe descent (Blue)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From the top this starts as a fast wide open grass descent.<\/p>\n<p>You soon gather speed and before you know it you are hurtling down sublime singletrack.<\/p>\n<p>There is nothing too scary here but do not be fooled! There are some bits that can catch you off guard.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This trail is rocky and rutty in places and has a couple of stream crossings.<\/p>\n<p>No trip to the Quantocks is complete without a run down this awesome descent.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trailforks.com\/trails\/weacombe-descent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See location<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong># 4 Frog Combe and Frog Combe singletrack (Red)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This one quickly spits you into a techy rooty section. It is a bit eroded. Nice swoopy descent through the trees.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trailforks.com\/trails\/frog-combe\/\">See Location<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong># 5 Sheppards combe and lady&#8217;s edge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Did someone say single-track? The singletrack on these trails is what the Quantocks are renowned for.
